Caitlin was born and raised in a small town in south central Pennsylvania. Growing up, she was a self proclaimed bookworm, and, on a bet in the fifth grade, read Little Women (unabridged) in one weekend for two whole dollars. She came to DC to attend American University with the intention of joining the Foreign Service. But plans, as they do, changed, and she switched to a dual degree in International Development and Literature (with a Creative Writing emphasis). As she’s always been in the audience, Shirley Dreaming is her first real venture into the realm of theatre, and she is currently working on a draft of her first original play for the Apron.
