Elizabeth is a creative force to be reckoned with. Born and bred in small town Connecticut, she escaped at the age of 18 to Washington, DC where she studied musical theatre at American University. Midway through her junior year, she hit her quarter-life crisis and realized she did not want to be a professional actor. After a summer abroad studying art in Florence, she decided that costuming would be the perfect way to merge her passions for both visual and performing arts. In the past year, she has designed costumes for Bluebeard (directed by one Ty Budde), House of Bernarda Alba, the Senior Capstone Festival at American University, and a roaring twenties Twelfth Night at E. O. Smith High School, her other Alma Mater. She looks forward to continuing her costuming conquests with the Apron Theatre.
